This science proposes about three pillars of human body, i.e Vata, Pitta and Kapha doshas. Doshas are energetic principles that exhibit imbalance in the body. Ayurveda focuses on treatment of the root cause and not the symptom alone.

Ayurveda is a comprehensive life philosophy and an holistic form of medicine, which help us to enjoy a healthy and satisfying life with more life energy.

Ayurveda works using the ancient system of balance, based on the knowledge that every being is made up of the 5 base elements; EARTH, FIRE, WATER, AIR and SPACE. If we are living balanced lives, these 5 elements must be in harmony and Ayurveda brings all these into equilibrium to enable us to live a healthy life inside and out, physically and emotionally.

Vatha, Pitha and Kapha are together called as three humours or thridosha. Trihumoral theory is the core of Ayurveda, there is a reason for this. In the living, there are only three fundamental mechanisms happening at all times. One mechanism known as catabolism, breakdown the food or tissue to provide energy. The other mechanism which is called anabolism utilizes this energy to facilitate growth and repair. The third mechanism is an entity which strives to maintain a balance between these two.

In Ayurveda all catabolic factors are represented by a conceptual humour called Pitha which is predominantly fire existent. Another humour called Kapha which is a combination of earth and water existents represents anabolism. The third humour called Vatha is the balancing entity in the body Vatha is blend of air and space existents. It is in control of Pitha and Kapha, prevents them from going rogue. Vatha may be compared to the neuro-hormonal mechanism of the body. Each of these humours is assigned a set of qualities.

Ayurveda is the science of life and art of healthy living and longevity. It restores and preserves health of the whole body and mind. Ayurveda has most effective treatment for chronic diseases such as paralysis, depression, Alzheimer, Attention deficient disorders, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and gout.

Although it is over 6,000 years old, the humans who lived in that time faced similar challenges that we do today; what to eat, how to adapt to changing environments and circumstances, cope with the many stresses of life that naturally come up as we get older, take on responsibilities, develop relationships, age, and eventually die. Developed over time and finally systematized into a unified body of knowledge, first taught in oral form, then eventually written down about 2,500 years ago, it is a vast amount of information about the promotion of well-being together with warnings about lifestyle habits that can destroy our vitality and happiness.

Since that time, many Ayurvedic texts and commentaries offering a great deal of detailed health information have been written throughout Asia and the Indian subcontinent, the most famous being the Charak Samhita and the Astangha Hridaya – to name just two. Within these and other texts is included information on every stage and facet of life; embryological and pre-natal information, the health concerns of children, men, women, elders and a wide array of therapies that include dietary advice, exercise, hygiene, supplementation, massage, hydrotherapy, surgery and how to work with the mind and emotions.

Swaasthya Ayurveda India Follows the traditional, Authentic & Classical style of Ayurved which gives the best results towards being healthy.
